#Slate vcc not showing up sonar drivers
Tell me how this is a driver issue again? Stop trying to blame other peoples hardware or drivers and fix the issue, all Microsoft actually does it dance around there problems and never fix anything.

Also nice to note this happens on all 4 of my Windows 10 computers, so please I am as up to date as possible even have done a complete nuke and reload of Windows with the same issues. I don't understand why we are treated like this is not a Windows problem.

I would suggest you to update the audio drivers and check if it works.Īlso try to uninstall and reinstall the sound card drivers and check if it helps. We are glad to help you.Īre you able to see the volume mixer while playing Windows media player? I understand the inconvenience that you are facing with the issue. We appreciate your interest on Windows 10. Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Whether the main playback device is set to "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" or not has NO effect on this situation. What am I missing? I haven't changed any sound settings other than sometimes switching the source from speakers to headphones and back. Using Edge to run sites like Netflix that produce sound results in the same situation: Edge is not showing up in the volume mixer, and in-web-page-app volume controls either control the main sound device volume or their own sound, but never show up in theĪpps like Groove Music, however, while they don't show entries in the volume mixer, at least have their own volume control separate from that for the main sound device. Instead, the Netflix app's volume control merely controls the level of the main sound device, so that if I turn the volume of netflix down, ALL sounds on the computer I have noticed strange sound issues with Windows 10 and entries in the volume mixer.įor example, if I use the netflix app, there is no source added to the volume mixer for it.
